G&A Named No. 4 on the Houston Chronicle’s Chron 100 Top Private Companies list
G&A Partners is the fourth-largest privately held firm on the Houston Chronicle's annual Chron 100 list of top private companies. This marks the sixth time the newspaper has recognized G&A Partners on the list, which was released in June, and fourth time in the top five.
The list ranked the top private companies in Houston and surrounding areas based on their total 2022 revenues, earnings-per-share growth, annual revenue growth, and one-year total return to shareholders on a dividend-reinvested basis. Despite nationwide inflation, rising interest rates, and economic uncertainty, G&A Partners grew its revenue by $1.5 billion in comparison to 2021 revenue numbers.
G&A Partners’ President and CEO John W. Allen attributed G&A's success in 2022 to sales growth, solid customer retention, and strategic acquisitions. In June 2022, G&A acquired Focus OneSource, a human resources provider based in Des Moines, Iowa, marking 11 acquisitions in four years.
“We're honored to be listed as the top 10 on the Houston Chronicle Chron 100 list.,” Allen said. “The past few years have come with many trials and tribulations, but our team has used this time to grow even stronger and focus on the things we do well, hoping that everything works out. We succeeded and plan to continue our growth for the years to come.”
