G&A Maintains No. 4 Spot on the Houston Chronicle’s Chron 100 Top Private Companies List

G&A Partners is the fourth-largest privately held firm on the Houston Chronicle's annual Chron 100 list of top private companies. This marks the seventh time the newspaper has recognized G&A Partners on the list, which was released in August. It's also the fifth time G&A has appeared in the top five and its second-consecutive number four rank. 

The list ranks the top private companies in Houston and surrounding areas based on their total 2023 revenues, earnings-per-share growth, annual revenue growth, and one-year total return to shareholders on a dividend-reinvested basis. 

"The list of Houston's largest private companies, particularly the top 10, reflects the diversity and economic health of the city's business environment," writes Houston Chronicle reporter Katherine Feser in the article announcing the list. "G&A Partners kept the No. 4 position with nearly $7.4 billion in revenue, up more than 20% for the year."

G&A Partners’ President and CEO John W. Allen attributed G&A's success in 2023 to sales growth, strategic acquisitions, and referral relationships. In April 2023, G&A expanded into Georgia, North Carolina, and Southern Florida. This was followed by expansion in Ohio in May 2023. Last November, G&A acquired Integrity Outsource, a human resources provider based in Arizona, marking 12 acquisitions in five years.
