G&A Partners Listed as One of the ‘Healthiest Employers of Texas,’ again
G&A Partners has been recognized as one of the 2022 Healthiest Employers of Texas, an award dedicated to people-first organizations that show continued commitment to employee well-being. This is the second year the firm has been honored by this program, and it ranked seventh in the midsize group of employers.
G&A was recognized because of its commitment to workplace wellness and exceptional health and benefits offerings. G&A uses the Evolve™ platform to collect employee recognition submissions, provide Health Risk Assessments (HRA), and schedule annual biometric screenings to measure clinical improvements among our employees. This system promotes wellness, provides help navigating life’s challenges, and offers special perks and incentives such as discounts on medical insurance premiums when employees achieve certain goals.
“The past few years have proven to be very difficult for many as we continue to face unknown challenges,” says G&A Partners President and CEO John W. Allen. “At G&A Partners, we recognize these challenges and how they affect our employees, otherwise known as the G&A family. We strive to take care of each other. Our Evolve™ wellness program is just one of the ways we do that.”
Being a PEO, G&A acknowledges the Great Resignation. As a company, G&A has been able to combat the challenges that have come with the Great Resignation and has enhanced and added new initiatives to preserve employee wellness.
“G&A promotes peer nominations and company recognition each quarter for employees who have reached a significant milestone on their wellness journey,” says G&A Partners Chief People Officer Michelle Mikesell. “In addition, we provide subsidies for monthly gym memberships and host physical fitness challenges, virtual yoga, and healthy cooking classes.
“In 2021, we also implemented a paid Wellness Day and introduced the CARE fund, a program allowing employees to submit anonymous applications for financial support during times of need. In 2022, we added two floating holidays for employees to use in addition to the holiday time-off already scheduled. Lastly, our Employee Assistance Program offers employees a safe space when counseling and support are needed.”
To date, the firm continues to give employees the option to return to work at the office, remain working from home, or utilize a hybrid work approach as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.
